I've created this bold necklace with a medieval vibe from a late Victorian or Edwardian brass gilt and past (rhinestone) brooch. The pin was missing but the original C clasp is still visible on the back. I've combined it with some large channel-set rhinestones in a matching red and vintage brass rope chain.

- made with an antique brooch fragment c.1890-1910, rhinestones c.1940s and chain c.1960s
- measures 48cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information)
- finished with a hook clasp
Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
