The background...
Hold your cardigan, coat or scarf together with this pretty and practical sweater guard. It features repurposed Sarah Coventry 'Chic' clip-back earrings released in 1957. I've mounted these on silver plated clips and connected them with repurposed vintage aluminium chain made in Western Germany.
NOTE that the chain hangs behind the clips, so it is a little longer than my other designs.
The detail...
- ethically and sustainably made in Melbourne
- contains vintage materials c.1950s-70s which may show evidence of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear
- the chain is 13.5 cm long and the total length is 17.5 cm (NOTE that the length of the chain can be shortened on request)
