The background...
This statement necklace made with 1950s brass brick chain, is designed to close at the front with a vintage spring ring clasp. I have mounted a pendant showing a romantic and idyllic scene c.1960s onto a vintage brass belt component. I have sealed this with a micro-crystalline wax to preserve its shine.
The pendant can be removed so that the chain can be worn as a stand-alone necklace.
