These asymmetrical earrings are so much fun! They have been made from a collection of vintage beads and earrings in blue and silver suspended from vintage style floral connectors. The glass beads have been upcycled from a 1930s necklace. An orphaned earring provided a porcelain bead set in silver with a blue flower on one side and a pink one on the other. I've added a silver and blue heart shaped drop from a more modern earring.
These earrings are a pair but are not matched. One is 6.0 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop and the other slightly longer at 6.8 cm. They are suspended from Sterling Silver hooks.
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, these earrings contain vintage and repurposed materials which may show some wear and a darkened patina associated with their age. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
