These unique earrings have been upcycled from 1940s-50s screw-back earrings set with Japanese-made floral glass stones. I have combined them with Cherry Brand beads which were made in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952.
They are suspended from 14 carat Gold Filled hooks, and measure 4 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop.
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, these earrings contain vintage and repurposed materials which may show evidence of wear and a deepened patina due to their age. I think this is what gives them so much charm.
