These delightful earrings have been upcycled from vintage screw-back earrings circa 1930s - 1940s made in a Victorian revival style. A lovely bronzed pearl bead is surrounded by rhinestones and set on a vintage stamping that reminds me of the Prince of Wales feathers. That is why I have matched them with tiny fleur-de-lys connectors made in the USA using vintage equipment and tooling. They are suspended from French hooks handmade from tarnish resistant brass.
They measure 5.5 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop.
These earrings have been made with vintage materials which hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
