This one of a kind necklace features a vintage 1960s glass intaglio pendant with a reverse carved (intaglio) rampant lion on a bright red background. I've created this chain from repurposed and vintage beads in red and gold to match the colours of the pendant.
In heraldry the lion rampant represents courage, strength and valour; a steadfast leader standing tall.
Matched earrings are available.

Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
