In this one-of-a-kind necklace I have combined a vintage locket (made circa 1970s intended to be finished by gold-plating) with an enamel and faux pearl clip-back earring circa 1950s-60s.
I have finished the necklace with vintage materials including repurposed, handmade glass beads in a deep royal blue, a scrolled brass stamping, bead caps, embossed connectors and brass textured chain which was also sourced from old warehouse stock.
It measures 47 cm along the neck edge and is finished with a hook clasp.
This striking necklace has been sustainably made in my workshop using vintage and repurposed materials. These hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
