This elegant and totally feminine necklace in blue and cream features an orphaned earring made with deep blue enamel, faux pearls and rhinestones circa 1950s. This has been combined with lustrous vintage Japanese-made pearl beads from the same era, which I sourced from old warehouse stock.
It measures 48.5 cm along the neck edge and is finished with a hook clasp.
This handmade necklace contains vintage repurposed materials. These hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
