These earrings have been handmade using vintage Peking Glass cabochons that were made in occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. Each cabochon has been set into a brass lace edged setting which was sourced from old warehouse stock. They are finished with French hooks handmade with tarnish resistant brass.
They measure 4 cm in length from the tip of the hook to the base of the drop.
These earrings have been lovingly made with vintage and repurposed materials which hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
