This necklace in silver and amethyst tones reminds me of a moonlit garden. The focal elements include a silvertone brooch fragment and two earrings in leaf and flower shapes with a fragment of a 1950s-60 choker necklace. This necklace fragment has been restored with the missing Lucite leaves replaced. (I was so excited to find that I had the exact matching shape in my collection.)
The necklace is accented with repurposed and new Amethyst beads. Amethyst is said to be a meditative and calming stone which promotes balance, patience, and peace.

Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened colour and minor wear. I think that is what gives it so much charm.
