This lovely necklace features three vintage brass daisy findings that I sourced from old warehouse stock. They were most likely created to be used in making the brightly painted daisy brooches typical of the 1960s.
Each has been coloured with inks specifically designed to bind with metal. I have used blue and white gold inks and added vintage Moonglow Lucite cabochons to form the centre for each flower.
Vintage bit and bridle chain and repurposed Moonglow Lucite beads complete the design.
This necklace is:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made with 1960s-70s vintage jewellery components
- 45.5 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information)
- Finished with a hook clasp
Sustainably made in Australia, this necklace contains vintage and repurposed materials. These hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
