This beautiful double stranded pearl necklace features a box clasp which I have embellished with a vintage Japanese glass stone in jade green. The clasp was made for the Richelieu company which ceased making jewellery under that name in 2003; and was sourced from old warehouse stock. The lovely pearl beads have been repurposed from a vintage necklace. You can wear this necklace with the clasp to the side or the back.

Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
