This statement necklace combines a 1960s heraldic pendant in the form of a Maltese cross embellished with an imperial eagle on a white Lucite disc. I have combined it with repurposed chain and lovely Carnelian Chalcedony beads.
Carnelian is said to be a stone of creativity, individuality and courage.
This necklace is:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made with a 1960s pendant, repurposed chain and semi-precious Chalcedony beads
- 83 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information) with the pendant hanging a further 6 cm below
Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
