This statement necklace is all fire and light!
I have combined a pot-metal rhinestone dress clip in the shape of a heart, a repurposed clip back earring and a faceted Labradorite bead to create a beautiful pendant. I've created a necklace by adding beautiful new and repurposed Labradorite beads. These have strong flashes of blue and turquoise when viewed from the right angle.
The lore of the Inuit people tells that Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis. It is known as a stone of transformation, enhancing strength of will and a sense of inner worth.

Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
