A beautiful flower...
I have combined a delightful orphaned 1950s flower shaped earring in a lovely mint green with some beautiful vintage pearl beads that I repurposed from a broken necklace of high quality. This pretty earring is made in a technique known as guilloché, where enamel is overlaid on a scribed metal surface.
This necklace is:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made with a repurposed earring and faux pearl beads both from the 1950s-60s
- 45.5 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information) with a 3 cm drop in the pendant
- Finished with a hook clasp
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
