This elegant necklace features hand-knotted lustrous Japanese-made pearl beads from the 1950s-60s. I have matched them with a classically styled box clasp signed Ann Tyler most likely from the 1980s. (Ann Tyler is an American brand established in 1954 known for it's classic women's wear). Both the pearl beads and clasp were sourced from vintage warehouse stock, so they are both old and new at the same time.
This necklace measures 46 cm along the neck edge and the clasp is 23 cm in diameter. It is perfect for any occasion as classic pearls are never out of style!
This handmade necklace contains vintage materials which hold some evidence of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
