I made this limited edition clip using a vintage moulded celluloid daisy. This whimsical flower was made in post-war Japan circa 1950s-60s, and was sourced from old warehouse stock. It is designed to be worn as a hair clip but could also be worn on the neckline of a dress or jacket.
Attached to a small filigree clip base in an antique bronze colour it measures 3.5 cm in length and 2.5 cm in diameter.
I have a limited number of matching earrings and bracelets available.
Handmade using vintage material which may hold some evidence of its former life in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives vintage items so much charm.
