Make a statement...
This striking asymmetrical necklace features repurposed black and gold beads from a 1960s stranded necklace and an enamel and rhinestone earring in the form of a lion's head probably made in the 1980s.
I created this necklace a couple of years ago and somehow it slipped out of sight within my collection... it's definitely time for it to step back into the light don't you think?
This necklace is:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made with a 1980s clip-back earring and vintage beads from the 1960s
- 53.5 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information)
- finished with a hook clasp
Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
