These earrings have been made using some unusual green vintage glass beads made in Czechoslovakia circa 1940s-50s. Each bead is diamond shaped with textured circular bubble shapes picked out in yellow. I have used vintage head pins and brass chain in creating these earrings.
They are suspended from 14 K Gold Filled hooks and measure about 4 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop.
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, they contain vintage materials which hold evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
