These lovely triple hoop earrings have been upcycled from a pair of broken clip-back earrings. One clip was missing and the head pins rusted, so they have been completely reconstructed.
Made of red and orange plastic concentric circles which can move independently, these earrings are a fab example of Mod jewellery from the 1960s
These earrings are:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made from 1960s clip-back earrings
- 5 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop and 2 cm at the widest point
- Finished with 14 carat gold filled hooks
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, these earrings contain vintage materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
