These lovely earrings have been created by upcycling some Jade stones from a broken bracelet in vintage settings. The bracelet was too damaged for me to repair, and the stones were a perfect match for some vintage brass settings that I sourced from old warehouse stock, so they were meant to be!
Jade is a special stone that is believed to promote wisdom, balance, and peace.
These earrings are:
- ethically and sustainably made
- one of a kind
- made from repurposed Jade stones and vintage settings c.1960s
- 3.2 cm from the top of the finding to the base of the drop
- suspended from 14 carat gold filled hooks
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop, these earrings contain repurposed vintage materials which may show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
